Privacy Policy
Test/beta deployment. Last updated: 2026-06-21.
Emberhall is an online companion for tabletop role-playing games. This page explains what data we store and why. This is a test deployment provided “as is”, without warranty.
What we collect
- Account data — your email address, a chosen nickname, and a securely hashed password (we never store passwords in plain text). If you sign in with Google, we receive your verified email and a Google account identifier.
- App data you create — campaigns, characters, encounters, chat messages, notes and uploaded images, used solely to provide the service to you and your group.
- Technical data — session information (browser, IP, timestamps) needed for login security and to show your active sessions.
How we use it
To authenticate you, run your campaigns, and keep your group in sync. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
We send transactional email only (account verification, password reset). No marketing email.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, sign out of sessions, and request account deletion. For any privacy request, contact the address below.

Game reference content is built on openly licensed material (SRD under CC-BY / OGL / ORC). Emberhall is “5e-compatible” and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast or Paizo.
